GMP Slovakia: Reels for drawing. GMP Slovakia offers different kind of reels for drawing. The most suitable for this application is our type HD-Heavy Duty. This reel has a very heavy structure, with reinforced double flanges and barrel suitable to support high wire tension. Barrel and top of the flanges are machined. Different optional are available, such as wire accumulator for continuous process, hardened treated changeable bushings, dynamically balancing for high speed. GMP Slovakia suggests a wide range of equipment for the handling of reels and coils, for example the lifting device RA-Reel Autolift, which allows the operator to lift the reel vertically from the central hole and the tilting device TU-Tilting Unit, which turns reels or coils 90° and bring them to the vertical to horizontal position and vice versa. For drawing coils production also suggested are take apart reels: TA/SCS-Take Apart Single Central Screw, the classical reel which works by connecting rod system operated by the movement of the screw and EK-Easykoil, the patented reel which releases the coils automatically. For this reel is also available the PLUS version, the take apart reel which works also as coil lifter. Both take apart reels are fully machined on the parts in contact with the wire, have slots for metal straps insertion and can be supplied with circular slots in the flanges to fit the cardboard barrel. To prevent wear problems, due to the high rotation speed, hardened changeable bushings are recommended. GMP Slovakia can also supply changeable flanges to make coils having different widths.
