GMP Slovakia: restoration and repair of worn-out reels

In addition to producing metal reels of every model and for any application, GMP Slovakia also provides repair and restoration services for used products.

The standard service includes grinding, straightening, painting, and - if necessary - balancing. Moreover, damaged parts can be replaced, or reel structure strengthening operations can be performed. The repair service is available for both fixed and take apart reels.

After an initial feasibility study, which is performed remotely, the worn or damaged reels are usually sent to GMP Slovakia's factories. The company performs only scheduled work, if more invasive repairs are needed, the customer will be notified in advance.

GMP Slovakia gives new life to reels which would be unusable otherwise: once restored, they can still be used for quite some time, according to the type of application and use.
