GMP Solvakia: Tilting Unit type TU/M with rolling system
GMP Slovakia range of products includes different equipments for handling reels, take apart reels and coils. To tilt the reels and coils from vertical to horizontal position and back, there are two products: TL-Tilter and TU/M-Tilting Unit Mechanical. The tilting device TL can carry reels up to 800 mm diameter. By pulling down the suitable handle the operator can expand the jaws inside the reel hubs. These jaws are manufactured with high strength hardened materials and are machined with a milling CNC machine to guarantee tight tolerances. The shape of the jaws is designed to have a better grip to the hub. The tilting device TU/M-Tilting Unit Mechanical can carries reels or coils up to 5 tons.
TU/M works by transmitting the movement from the motor to the tilting table by a chain. TU/M is provided with safety barriers (hardware and optical). The design of the lay-out is done according to customer's request. This equipment must be placed in ground, this work is designed by the technical team of GMP Slovakia. It is possible to supply a rolling system, where the operator can place the reel in horizontal axis position for the strapping operation. Both equipments are supplied with all the documentation requested by law (CE mark).
