Reels and baskets for winding and unwinding process
The application of GMP Slovakia's reels is wide and different; the are items suitable for drawing, buncher and stranding steel, copper and aluminium wire. Many of the reels can be used both for winding and unwinding process. HD-HEavy Duty reel type, for example, can be used for steel wire drawing process and for pay off process also. This reel has machined barrel to avoid damages to the winded wire, and it is dynamically balanced for high speed. It can be supplied with the wire accumulator system for continuus process. Another suggested reel for both application is MR-Massive Reel model, which has strong construction for drawing and stranding steel wire process. The reel is normally supplied with high strebght, hardened changeable bushiungs fixed by screws or by welding points. Many different dimensions are available, starting from 355 to 1250 mm flange.
GMP Slovakia also manufactures carries to load wire which is used for production of annealed and galvanized wire. There carries are designed according to customer's request and are designed to guarantee the best functionality. They can have a very easy structure completely manufactured by tubes or can have a big central barrel in bended sheet.
