Butt welding machines for copper or aluminum conductors

STRECKER butt welding machines can handle a range from 0.08-1,200 mm² for copper conductors or 1.5-1,200 mm² for aluminium conductors. For smaller conductors, the welding machines are foot-operated and use glass or ceramic tubes for welding. For larger conductor cross-sections, hand-operated or pneumatic machines are available. Welding is performed using ceramic or graphite tubes. Particular attention should be given to hydraulic double upset butt welding machines with automatic flash removal, which allow welding without tubes.
