Defremm: Overall situation quite positive
Defremm took advantage of the crisis period and invested in the training of its human resources, despite having had a difficult 2009, with a marked drop in turnover until mid year. The company says: “We began to see a slight recovery from June 2009 on, more or less. Now we have quite a lot of work, having acquired new customers and developed new products. We are investing in machinery and technology, but the way of working has changed and we are constantly under pressure to try to satisfy increasingly demanding production and delivery schedules.
The company goes on to say “There is no visibility or programmes which enable us to organize the work in a constant manner, so we have to try to develop more efficiency within our processes, to make the company leaner and more flexible so it can respond to the changed demands of customers and the market in general. Note that, in the area of production we have added new threaded inserts AIS1316 to our range of products. And we have not stopped taking part in trade fairs.
The next ones will be:
Fastener Fair 2010 = Budapest 6-7 September 2010
Fastener Fair 2011 = Stuttgart 22-24 February 2011
