FAR to bring new solutions for automated riveting at MECSPE 2026

FAR S.r.l., a leader in the fasteners sector, has always made quality and Made-in-Italy production its key strengths. Recently, the company has broadened its extensive product portfolio with several new fastening solutions. In parallel, it  has also strengthened its R&D activities, focusing on automated riveting systems and customized solutions for the manufacturing industry.

New riveting process control system

With this objective in mind, the company has developed a new high-tech solution that  will be previewed at MECSPE 2026: an innovative process control device for rivets and threaded inserts.

The system consists of a data acquisition hardware unit and dedicated software, installable on a PC or server and via web interface. It allows analysis of riveting performance by comparison with reference cycles. Furthermore, it can monitor and manage production progress, record the results of each individual riveting operation, and provide control over job timelines and related cost analysis.

Automation for threaded inserts: KR800 and AS4

In addition to the new control system, FAR will present two new solutions at MECSPE 2026:

• • • • • KR800, an advanced unit for the feeding and precise positioning of threaded inserts through a robotic system;

      • • AS4, a head unit for insert installation equipped with a semi-automatic feeder.

Both systems are designed to improve efficiency, repeatability, and integration into modern automated production environments.
