Results, insights, and reflections from FAR on its experience at Lamiera 2025

The latest edition of Lamiera has just wrapped up and it’s now time to take stock. FAR, an Italy-based automation system and solution manufacturer for the fastener industry, was among the exhibitors at the trade show dedicated to the sheet metal sector, held in Milan from May 6 to 9.
Lamiera 2025: a mixed experience
CEO Massimo Generali and Area Manager Maurizio Dall’Omo shared their thoughts on this year’s edition, after taking part in many industry events over the years.
“To be honest, Lamiera seemed to have lost some of its appeal compared to past editions, especially those held in Bologna. The overlap with other major industry shows may have played a role. Overall, engagement from visitors and exhibitors appeared lower. The layout felt somewhat dispersive, and the four-day duration may have been unnecessarily long.”
“These considerations aside, we can still say the event was a positive experience—at least for FAR. We showcased some interesting innovations, such as our automatic riveting machine model AU250, equipped with the new SC8 riveting control system, and the workbench with base unit for inserts featuring a robotic arm and automatic AS4 feeder. Both attracted significant attention from visitors. The final two days saw a good turnout and valuable feedback from both new prospects and long-standing clients.”
Consistent riveting quality, renowned across the industry
Once again, FAR proves its ability to combine continuous R&D on high-quality, cutting-edge riveting systems with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This is possible through a widespread sales network, numerous service centers, and commercial support throughout every step of the supply process. FAR’s reliability and consistency stood out once again at Lamiera—further proof of the company’s status as a flagship of Italian manufacturing excellence in the fastening industry.
