Kilton looks to the future with a new automated storage unit

To ensure an increasingly responsive and flexible service, Kilton has entered a new phase of development with the launch of an automated warehouse next to its main facility. This new structure increases storage capacity with over 1,200 pallet units, significantly strengthening the company’s internal logistics network.
The decision stems from the need to promptly respond to the fast-evolving fastener sector. This investment aims not only to optimize workflow but also to consolidate the company's ability to ensure on-time deliveries, even in highly complex scenarios.
An integrated logistics system with low environmental impact
The new facility is integrated with existing order management and traceability systems, with special attention to the fastener product line. The entire complex is powered by a photovoltaic system, reflecting the company’s responsible approach to sustainability. This choice reduces energy consumption from traditional sources, contributing to a more efficient and environmentally conscious production cycle.
From words to action: innovation and real growth
The logistics upgrade also supports the future expansion of the product range. Kilton plans to introduce new technical items specifically designed to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding industry. “In our field, there’s often talk of growth and know-how, but what really matters to us are tangible results,” says Silvano Chiello, founder and leader of the company.
Kilton offers a comprehensive range: self-tapping screws for the mechanical industry, trilobular, self-drilling, and plastic screws; drywall, roofing, windows and doors, cookware, and footwear; low and high-strength bolts and screws; nuts, washers, and screwdriver accessories.
