Officina Bonacina returns to its birthplace: a new chapter in company history

From 1958, Officina Bonacina Srl has stood as a steadfast pillar in the realm of designing and crafting machine tools, alongside excelling in mechanical processes. Over the years, Alessandro Bonacina's dedication paved the way for the workshop's expansion, eventually leading to its relocation to a more spacious establishment in Olginate (Lecco) in 1968.

In 1981, following the untimely departure of Mr. Alessandro entrusted the reins of the company to his daughters, Enrica and Lorenza. Fuelled by determination, they propelled production forward by introducing cutting-edge CNC machines and broadening the spectrum of tie rods, screws, and anchorages. This era marked a period of substantial growth, prompting Officina Bonacina to make a move in 2014 to Calolziocorte, accommodating an ever-expanding array of machinery.

Recent years have witnessed notable transformations within the company, partly owing to the active involvement of the third generation. Eleonora (born in 1988), Andrea (born in 1989), Ilaria (born in 1991), and Lorenzo (born in 1994) — the offspring of the owners — have been gradually assuming significant roles in steering the company. Their exceptional contributions have been instrumental in diversifying the production line to include specialized and bespoke products, all under the vigilant guidance of the company's founders.

This transformative phase has now culminated in an important decision: the return of Officina Bonacina to its roots in the town of Olginate. In December 2023, the company relocated to new headquarters  in Via Moronata 46. This symbolic shift represents not just a homecoming but a fresh start for the company.

Backed up by a 65 year-long tradition, the company stands poised to perpetuate its commitment to quality and punctuality, bravely embracing the future with the same passion that has defined its journey from the outset.
