Screw factory Viteria Fusani heading towards Industry 4.0
Viteria Fusani, a company that has been in the fasteners world since more than 60 years as a manufacturer of special custom screws, has started a journey aiming to bring the company to the requirements of Industry 4.0, the evolution process also identified as "Fourth Industrial Revolution".
The current investments are numerous:
- A new progressive header is coming in to increase the production capacity of screws and specialty items more and more similar to the turned products, but with the cost of the formed product.
- A new unique information system will soon be implemented, replacing the various software purchased over the last twenty years. Having all the information in a single system connected with the production machinery will enable Viteria Fusani to derive important values to be used to improve its efficiency in all processes.
- Auxiliary systems for production processes are under construction. This will enable the company to have the most functional modern technologies available.
- New human resources are being put in place in order to boost process efficiency and business growth.
