Officina Bonacina continues its industrial innovation journey with a structured plan of initiatives dedicated to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Production site redevelopment

The roof was completely renovated to improve the plant’s energy performance, reducing heat loss and creating the ideal conditions for the installation of renewable energy generation systems. At the same time, the company replaced the windows and carried out a targeted insulation upgrade.

These solutions allow for more efficient management of the indoor climate, with direct benefits in terms of operational comfort and reduced energy consumption.

Industrial photovoltaic system and energy community

The core of the project is the installation of 360 photovoltaic panels, with a total output of 160 kWp. The system enables Officina Bonacina to cover a significant share of its energy needs through a renewable, low-emission source.

The company has also joined the local energy community, a forward-looking model that makes it possible to:

• reduce electricity drawn from the national grid;
• feed unused electricity into the community grid;
• promote a shared green energy model.
