Piloni accelerates on digitalization and safety

Piloni, a long-established manufacturer of fasteners and small metal parts, is stepping up its push for industrial innovation. The Italy-based company has extended its digital monitoring system (already in place on its cold heading machines) to also include its thread rolling machines.
This upgrade gives Piloni a complete, real-time overview of the entire production process, gaining clear advantages in terms of traceability, quality control, and response time.
This efficiency-driven strategy is further supported by the recent adoption of a modern Business Intelligence (BI) platform. This tool collects and analyzes operational data, transforming it into quick, informed decisions. The goal is to reduce machine downtime, optimize performance, and enable more strategic production planning.
A strong commitment to safety
Alongside digital improvements, Piloni has invested in a complete overhaul of its machine shop, upgrading both mechanical and electronic systems. This move aligns with the latest industrial safety standards and reflects the company’s commitment to the well-being of its operators.
A tradition with a future-oriented mindset
Founded nearly a century ago, Piloni continues to stand out for its specialized production of solid rivets, semi-tubular and bifurcated rivets, pins, as well as custom-designed fasteners. Everything is manufactured through cold-forming of metal wire, using a wide range of materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass) with diameters ranging from 2 to 14 mm.
In an industry that demands precision, reliability, and on-time delivery, Piloni meets the challenge with targeted investments and a modern industrial approach. The foundation is tradition, but the future is already in motion.
