Cold-formed pins, shafts, and stems manufactured to drawing

Prima Zanetti manufactures custom pins, shafts, and stems in iron or stainless steel, produced using two-blow single-die headers or multi-station presses. Components can reach a maximum length of 65 mm. These parts are mainly intended for the automotive and household appliance industries.

Secondary operations

The production cycle can be integrated with secondary operations, including threading up to M8, straight, cross, or custom knurling, and custom grooves according to drawing specifications.

Heat treatments

Prima Zanetti performs heat treatments both in-house and through selected partners. These include annealing in an inert atmosphere, quenching and tempering, and carbonitriding.

Electroplating and surface treatments

Available finishes include Cr VI-free zinc plating, electrolytic and electroless nickel plating, copper plating, tin plating, zinc-nickel plating, silver plating, black oxide coating, blackening treatments for stainless steel, passivation treatments for stainless steel and aluminum, zinc phosphating, and oiling. Additional surface treatments include vibratory finishing and electropolishing.
