New environmental standards in China: Condoroil at the Asian Stainless Steel Conference
On June 3rd and 4th, the 10th edition of the Asian Stainless Steel Conference took place in Singapore.
Among the topics, one was of extreme interest for Condoroil: the new environmental provisions entered into force in China beginning 2015.
These new rules brought to the closure of 70% of the steelworks while, for the still active companies, an investment for the
environment has been quantified in US$ 32 per ton of steel produced.
It has been a good opportunity for Condoroil to propose all the complete range of technologies and products for stainless steel that were developed in the latest 30 years to face the environmental issue that in Europe started a long time ago.
