PROMOTION Condoroil

Last July we have carried out, at Condoroil Stainless workshop, a practical demonstration of the functioning of a pickling and polishing electrolytic tunnel in continuous of stainless steel bars and tubes.
During the performance, the companies who were interested in the unit were able to try their material and so to appreciate the quality of the surfaces as well as the extreme speed of the treatment.
A particular focus has been paid to treatment of difficult materials such as duplex and super duplex alloys.
By the treatment of these alloys a remarkable reduction of working times occurs , from 30 hours dip in a chemical bath to 2 minutes with the process we are proposing.
This reduction of the time is mainly due to high working potential which changes from 300-800 mV of a chemical bath to over 10 V of the electrolytic process that allows to work much over the passivity zone.   Example of a superduplex tube (pickling time 2 min)   Example of an electropolished austenitic tube   Example of a pickled bar
Example of an electropickled bar
After the excellent feedback received from the presentation of the electrolytic pickling tunnel in line, we decided to organize a new event and in week 38 the presentation of two different plants took place:
On Sept 16 - our Model MINERVA – the regeneration unit by ultrafiltration for degreasing baths.
On Sept 19 - our Model SEPAR – unit for the treatment of spent emulsions.   Minerva is an ultrafiltration plant for the regeneration of degreasing baths through the removal of whole and emulsifiable oils, soaps and polishing and lapping pastes. Thanks to the continuous regeneration, the bath remains steady from the qualitative point of view with remarkable economic advantages such as: Save on - degreaser and phosphodegreaser,
- water
- manpower
- disposal Separ is a treatment unit of spent emulsions used in the separation of water and oil emulsions coming from pipe mills, mills , degreasing, mechanical workings and thermal treatments.
The separated aqueous phase can be reused in the preparation of the emulsion or discharged after removal of the surfactants and reduction of COD.
The concentrated oily phase is sent to the Association of spent oils where it is treated again to be recovered as combustible fluid.
