Qualicoat homologation for nanotechnological product Condorcoat AL16
Condorcoat Al 16 has officially been approved by Qualicoat Zurich.
Condorcoat AL 16 is a nanotechnological product for chromium free, phosphate free conversion treatment used to produce on aluminium and magnesium alloys an almost colorless conversion layer dry in place.
The superficial nanotechnologic conversion coating, composed by zirconium and titanium sealed on the surface by a film based on special resins, increases performances of the following painting, liquid or powder. The conversion layer has excellent bonding properties for paint and supplies a valid protection against filiform corrosion between paint and base metal.
The product does not require any rinse after treatment. However, for pieces with many liquid drag out, it is recommended to carry out a rinse with demi water to avoid coating weights higher than the advised range (between 50 and 150 mg/mq).
Condorcoat Al 16 bath is manually controlled by determination of the acidity point or by our on line control and dosing chain CONDORCLEAN IC.
The bath can be purified with traditional chemical physical plants, or with the CONDORDEPUR series.
