Surface treatment of metal strips: two new nanotechnological formulations by Condoroil
Condoroil Chemical is proud to present two new nanotechnological no rinse products.
The first one, developed for treatment prior to painting of coils, to be used in spray plant diluted in water is CONDORCOAT EC 980.
The product, even though free of resins in general, provides the same performances of corrosion resistance of
the best products present today on the market. Absence of resins avoids typical problems coming from presence of such compounds, such as foam formation and fouling of the tank edges and of the rolls.
The second one, developed for passivation of hot galvanized coils, is CROMCOAT CR 644.
The product, trivalent chromium based, provides very high corrosion resistance, exceeding the most stringent
requirements of the industry. As a data, it is sufficient to report the guarantees of resistance of over 120 h of exposure to salt spray before it appears the 5% of white rust.
