Maillefer, a letter to the customers: stay safe and keep healthy
Following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Maillefer had to make some adjustments to serve wire, cable, pipe, and tube manufacturers worldwide in the best possible way.
The company’s personnel is the most valuable asset and as such must be preserved. Maillefer experts and Services support continue to be fully accessible, but many operations must be performed differently to ensure safety for all employees.
This is why the company is granting flexibility in the workplace and with work hours, encouraging remote working when possible, and making sure that the limited number of operators at the facilities follow strict safety measures.
Essential resources are organized as needed and wherever necessary and all new equipment projects are progressing as planned. Operations like purchasing, receiving, assembly, tests, packing, export, and shipping (to name a few) continue, thanks to the dedicated staff who are responding to the exceptional conditions.
There is some tension along the supply chain, but by keeping regular contacts with supplier and logistics partners Maillefer will be able to lessen the impact. Projects affected by travel limitations will promptly be rescheduled as soon as governments lift bans due to the COVID-19.
