Maillefer at wire Düsseldorf 2026: live cable manufacturing technology, supported by 3D insight

Maillefer at wire Düsseldorf 2026: live cable manufacturing technology, supported by 3D insight

At wire Düsseldorf, Maillefer showcases a broad portfolio of live, operating technologies, underlining its focus on real, proven solutions for cable manufacturers—while using 3D visualization as a complementary tool to explain complex processes.

In Hall 10, Stand C22, the emphasis is clearly on equipment you can see, understand, and discuss in detail. The stand features a wide range of machines, components, and service solutions covering extrusion, stranding, measurement, and process control.

What visitors can see live

Maillefer brings several key technologies to the show floor, including the ACC 12/16 auto centering crosshead for precise cable centricity, and the THC 70/150 HE PP crosshead paired with an NXW 200 mm extruder, demonstrating a hybrid CV line concept capable of processing both crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) and polypropylene (PP). The lineup also includes the KN 450 planetary strander for fiber optic applications, the CTC continuous type change solution, and the Topography Scanner 2.0 for advanced surface quality monitoring.

Service and digital solutions are part of the picture as well, with demonstrations of measurement technologies such as the inductive Siccon system, alongside a “cable forest” displaying a wide range of cable samples produced with Maillefer technology.

Where 3D adds value

Alongside the physical exhibits, Maillefer integrates a 3D immersive experience into the stand. An interactive model of a vertical Extra High-Voltage DC line for submarine cable production supports discussions on line configuration, process flow, and engineering choices, adding an intuitive, spatial perspective to the live technologies on display.

From machines to factory-level performance

Maillefer also demonstrates SimFactory, a factory simulation environment with real-time dashboards and performance graphs, showing how production lines and processes can be analyzed and optimized at plant level.

By combining a broad range of live equipment with selected 3D and simulation tools, Maillefer highlights how advanced manufacturing technologies and optimized processes can provide a tangible competitive advantage for cable producers. The solutions on display show practical ways to improve efficiency, quality, and process control in a rapidly evolving industry, with a clear focus on the green energy transition and best-in-class manufacturing practices.

Maillefer welcomes visitors to Hall 10, Stand C22, starting Monday, April 13. Appointments can be scheduled to discuss manufacturing requirements and explore how Maillefer’s solutions can support specific production objectives.
