SETIC & POURTIER confirms its participation in the wire Düsseldorf 2026 trade fair, the essential meeting point for the wire and cable industry. This edition marks a major milestone with the presentation of a unified brand identity under the signature: “Wire and cable solutions powering a changing world”.

The SETIC & POURTIER portfolio enables wire and cable manufacturers to select different state-of-the-art and twinning and cabling technologies for a wide range of cables, with each solution tailored to specific production requirements.

Advanced solutions for EV and data cable production

To meet the rising demand driven by global technological developments in the automotive industry – including full-electric vehicles and required charging infrastructure – the Group is leading the field with new developments enhancing its high-performance rotating machines.

Enhanced high-speed double twist bunchers, single twist take-up with backtwist payoffs, and complete stranding solutions are specifically engineered for the production of EV charging, batteries, and data cables. Thanks to its one step or two steps solutions (double twist twinners and quadders, as well as group twinners), SETIC & POURTIER responds effectively to the growing demand for industrial data cables, IIoT applications, robotics, and expanding global LAN market.

Low and medium voltage cable production

The low and medium voltage cable market is poised for significant expansion, driven by increasing energy demand, grid integration, infrastructure development, and major construction projects—including data centers.

SETIC POURTIER large single twist

The portfolio continues to expand with the introduction of rigid strangers handling a higher number of wires up to 169, pulling capstan up to 80 tons, and XL drum twisters up to 60 tons.

All of these machines are designed and manufactured according to the highest industrial standards to produce all types of high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV)power cables. Applications range from overhead conductors – including ACCC™, ACSS-TW and ACSR-TW – to submarine or land AC cables using high quality Milliken conductor, as well as DC cables using large round compacted conductors or profiled “Keystone” wires.
