Cable packaging machinery expert opens new facility in NC, USA
2020 was remarkable for Windak Group. The world-leading specialist in cable packaging machinery opened two new facilities (in the USA and Estonia) and is looking forward to the company’s development and successful future.
The latest milestone set by the Sweden-based expert is the opening of a new 20,000 SqFt, Process and Training Center, in Conover, NC, USA.
“At the new facility, we will focus on Process Development and Customer Training. To successfully provide turn-key solutions we need to engage with our customers on all levels, prior to the delivery of the equipment” said Daniel Shelander, the Managing Director of Windak Inc.
Since implementing local process and customer training, the commissioning and onsite training time have been significantly reduced.
Windak started in Sweden in 1994. The first order was to Volvo for a complete pallet handling packaging system.
From 1994 tо the present-day the innovative technologies include high-speed rewind lines for fiber optic cable, fully automatic spooling lines, versatile coiling lines, a multitude of palletizers, and breakthrough coiling solutions for packaging cable products into boxes or bags.
