The cable screening line proposed by WTM involves the application of silver-plated copper tape; the screening process is handled by focusing on the specific cable type. The line consists of the following units:
- pay-off with specific tension control and traversing movement to avoid any stress on the conductors;
- taping unit with wire tension control and precision SPC tape laying, thanks to the unique dynamic dancer also manufactured by WTM;
- Visio System integrated for data acquisition and subsequent statistical and FFT analysis;
- capstan and caterpillar pulling units with sophisticated components to prevent fluctuation of cable movement;
- take-up unit with traversing system for precise cable deposition, which ensures the best final result.
