The backtwist pay-offs are a fundamental part of single-twist stranding lines. These machines are used in the production of cables designed for automotive, robotics, data transmission, instrumentation, etc.

In particular, the latest version of the triple concentric backtwist pay-off can reach a speed of 1000 RPM while maintaining the high accuracy of the cable backtwisting, particularly in the case of small dimension wires.
The specific rotating dancer ensures these remarkable performances by reducing to zero any interference in the distribution of the twists on the wire prior to the stranding process.
