WTM taping machine for the application of polyimide tapes

WTM has recently released a new video about its cable taping line specifically designed for the application of polyimide tapes with a subsequent sintering process on round and flat cables.

Compared to standard ones, this machine has peculiar features: it is integrated with numerous additional elements including:

- wire straightener and brushing machine for proper cable preparation;
- induction preheater;
- sintering furnaces;
- compacting units to facilitate tape adhesion to the conductor;
- cooling and drying units;
- spark testers for checking the quality of cable insulation.
