Continuus-Properzi: “Our future challenge? Customers’ needs”

Continuus-Properzi: “Our future challenge? Customers’ needs”

Continuus-Properzi has been a regular at Interwire since the early 1980s. Over the decades, both the non-ferrous industry and Properzi’s technologies have significantly evolved.

This year, as usual, the company will participate in Interwire (May 13 to 15 in Atlanta), and also in the Global Continuous Casting Forum – GCCF. At stand 1039, Properzi’s specialists will be at your disposal to illustrate the most recent technologies developed for the industry in detail.

Additionally, during the GCCF, Alberto Ghisetti – Sales Director of Continuus-Properzi S.p.A, and Giuseppe Marcantoni – General Manager and Vice President of Properzi International, Inc.– will be delivering the presentation: Historic review of the development of FRHC rod production, 60 years in the making!

The appointment is on Tuesday, May 13, from 08:10 am to 8:40 am at the Casting Forum, room 411.

Here is a brief preview:

“Unbeknownst to many professionals in the copper rod industry today, both the technology for casting and rolling copper rod and the one for recycling copper scrap into FRHC rod actually emerged simultaneously in the early 1960s.

The approach to copper scrap recycling has improved substantially since its inception in 1963. Through the years, Continuus-Properzi has been at the forefront of addressing the many challenges associated with its development, playing a key role in driving the industry’s shift toward a ‘greener’ approach. Today, the production of FRHC rod using 100% copper scrap is becoming increasingly common, and Continuus-Properzi remains the leading international supplier of furnaces, refining technology, continuous casting & rolling equipment, and environmental exhaust control systems.”

If you have the opportunity to visit Properzi’s booth, you are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the team, who will address your inquiries thoroughly. To book a meeting, contact:
