MFL Group to showcase high-performance technologies at wire Middle East Africa

MFL Group to showcase high-performance technologies at wire Middle East Africa

From September 6 to 8, 2025, MFL Group will exhibit at booth A74 at wire Middle East Africa in Cairo, highlighting its latest developments in wire, cable, and rope manufacturing technologies. With over 125 years of experience, the family-owned company is a global provider of complete production plants and turnkey solutions.

Comprehensive production lines powered by MFL X

MFL Group’s portfolio includes drawing, stranding, extrusion, and treatment lines, all compatible with the MFL X digital ecosystem. This platform enables streamlined operations, enhanced process control, and data-driven decision-making, supporting manufacturers in boosting efficiency and productivity.

Multiwire drawing: speed, efficiency, and reduced downtime

At the show, the company will present its high-efficiency Multiwire drawing line, designed to increase output while reducing energy consumption and maintenance needs. It can process up to 48 wires (24 per row) with 15 to 33 dies and reach speeds of 35 m/s. A quick die-change system cuts downtime significantly, eliminating the need for full re-stringing and improving overall productivity.

New TS series: three rod breakdown models for every need

To better serve the evolving needs of the market, MFL Group has restructured its rod breakdown line range into three targeted models:

- TS1 – single or dual-wire, up to 15 blocks on one level: a flexible, high-output solution ensuring excellent cable quality.
- TS2 – single-wire over 15 blocks on two levels: a compact, efficient, and reliable option.
- TS3 – single-wire with up to 16 blocks: designed for performance with balanced investment.

High-performance extrusion for HFFR compounds

The company will also spotlight its extrusion lines for HFFR compounds, ideal for building wire applications with increasing fire-safety standards. These systems ensure precise control of melt temperature and consistently high-quality output.

LRPC lines: performance and sustainability

A recognized leader in LRPC production, MFL Group has delivered hundreds of PC wire and strand lines worldwide. The company offers in-line mechanical descaling and phosphate coating systems that prepare rod with reduced use of aggressive chemicals, combining high performance with sustainability.

Pail Packer Machine: efficient and twist-free take-up

Also on display will be the Pail Packer Machine (PPM), a drum take-up system engineered to minimize or eliminate permanent twists. Suitable for a wide range of materials—including high, medium, and low-carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, CO₂, and flux-cored wires—it handles coils of up to 2 tons. Its operator-friendly design supports smooth, high-speed, and energy-efficient downstream processes with minimal maintenance.

As wire, cable, and rope production continues to grow across the Middle East and Africa, MFL Group is committed to supporting regional development and partnering with forward-thinking manufacturers investing in innovation.

Join MFL Group at booth A74 at wire Middle East Africa, from September 6 to 8 in Cairo, and discover how its technologies can boost your production.
