O.M.A. to present high-performance braiding and winding technologies

O.M.A. to present high-performance braiding and winding technologies

O.M.A. is pleased to confirm its attendance at wire Düsseldorf 2026 along with the great world players in wire & cable technology. As a leader in braiding innovation, the company is taking part in this great event with its entire staff, who will guide you through the latest developments in wire braiding, spiraling and winding technology.

At wire Düsseldorf 2026 O.M.A. will showcase in particular:

Braiding machine type 24/1-143 BFV/EC

Braiding machine type 24/1-143 BFV/EC

The braiders of the 143 BF series have been specifically developed to produce high-quality products with high output, representing the faster and wider upgrade alternative to the 140 braiders and above all to the rotating braiding systems. The innovative 3:1 braiding system, combined with cutting-edge material, allows the 143 BF series to yield a 50% higher average production than conventional 2:1 braiding machines. This greatly reduces the gap with the rotating braiding systems and maintains the well-known reliability of the O.M.A. products so as to ensure high production average in the long term.

The vertical axis braiding machines of the 143 BF represent the best solutions for several applications, due to their particular construction and remarkable bobbin capacity such as:

  • PTFE and thermoplastic hoses
  • electrical, earthing, and communication cables
  • brake, power steering, socket less, and engine hoses
  • power steering return, air conditioning, and gasoline
  • mandrel and mandrel less rubber and silicone hoses
  • textile ropes
  • tubular, flat, and round technical products

Automatic winding machine type BTA 4/90SR designed for snap ring bobbins

Automatic winding machine type BTA 4/90SR

This machine ensures the maximum efficiency and productivity thanks to simultaneous parallel winding of 4 bobbins, driven by multiple electronically synchronized motors and managed by an innovative Numerical Control for easy and fast programming.

The wide range of BTA models include 2 or 4-spindles winding machines, fully electronically controlled using a state-of-the-art processing system, developed by O.M.A. R&D department. This system enables winding with the highest efficiency of a large variety of wires and yarns, such as copper, aluminum, soft steel, and stainless steel, Aramid, synthetic and natural fibers.

Don’t miss this opportunity! The O.M.A. team awaits you at wire Düsseldorf from April 13 to 17 at Booth A41 in Hall 10!
