ORT Italia showcases advanced rolling technologies in India

ORT Italia is a world leader in the production of rolling machines, thanks to over 60 years of experience in the profile rolling field. The company has always addressed emerging challenges by constantly modernizing its machines. ORT Italia offers a vast range of products dedicated to complex profile processing, expanding the thread rolling machines range up to 150 tons of rolling force, implementing the most advanced technologies, and developing innovative integrated automation systems.

Over its lifetime, ORT Italia has produced over 4.000 machines, delivered all over the world, most of which are still in good working condition. ORT can also boast of being the first to introduce solutions such as the three-die rolling machines with hydraulic control rather than purely mechanical control, the two-roller machines with servomotors, and the first fully electric rolling machines controlled by CNC.

Today, ORT Italia’s portfolio ranges from single slide machines (RP) to three-slide machines (3RP), offering great versatility in rolling force, starting from a minimum of 10 tons and reaching up to 150 tons. Among the most recent products developed by ORT Italia are the EVO models, EVOLUTION, which represent a new generation of machines featuring innovative solutions.

Demand for high-precision rolling products is growing, as customers are increasingly looking for components with high added value. For this reason, ORT Italia continues to expand into new industries and is actively operating in a variety of sectors, such as automotive, aerospace, infrastructure, railway, oil and gas, wind energy and agricultural machinery.

Over the last few years, ORT Italia has steadily increased its turnover by investing in and supplying machines in developing countries. India, in particular, is one of the most important markets for the company. ORT Italia has also established an annual cooperation with CP Agency, its technical and commercial partner located in India.

Since 2021, ORT Italia has also been a member of UCIMU, the Union of Italian Machine Tool, Robot and Automation Manufacturers.
