350 tons of bending force: a new 1960 Seravesi plate roll successfully delivered

A new milestone for 1960 Seravesi, a benchmark in the field of plate bending and forming. A new variable geometry plate roll has recently been delivered to Sidertaglio Calandratura S.r.l., designed to ensure maximum precision and operational flexibility.

Variable geometry, power, and stability

The machine, featuring a bending force of 350 tons and a working length of 6 meters, has been engineered to combine power, reliability, and accuracy. It is equipped with a standard upper roll capable of bending diameters starting from 28", and with a second, smaller interchangeable upper roll allowing the processing of minimum diameters down to 22". The lower rolls are centrally supported to ensure stability and consistency throughout the process.

All three rolls are motorized to guarantee uniform traction, while the hydraulic central opening system facilitates processing of large diameters.
