LE.DI.CA. supplies equipment for India's first integrated line for 24-inch stainless steel pipes
LE.DI.CA. srl is contributing to a major industrial project in India’s stainless steel sector: the construction of the country’s first and largest production line for 24-inch stainless steel pipes.
A strategic investment for India’s stainless steel industry
The new production line was developed by Suncity Metals & Tubes Pvt Ltd with the objective of reducing dependence on international suppliers and strengthening manufacturing resilience in a global environment characterized by increasingly unstable supply chains. It enables the production of stainless steel pipes up to 24 inches in diameter with wall thicknesses up to Schedule 80.
LE.DI.CA. is part of the project through the installation of its Plasma Preheating + Plasma Keyhole + TIG with wire + ID TIG Torch with wire welding system within the new production line, contributing to the development of a strategic production capacity for the local large-diameter stainless steel pipe market.

The project represents an important milestone for India’s manufacturing sector, which is strengthening domestic production of high-performance stainless steel pipes for the infrastructure, energy, plant engineering, and heavy engineering sectors.
