Officine MTM heads to EuroBLECH 2026 with new developments for STAHL-3

Officine MTM heads to EuroBLECH 2026 with new developments for STAHL-3

EuroBLECH is getting closer and Officine MTM is ready to return to Hannover with something new to show. From October 20 to 23, visitors can meet the company team at Hall 17, Stand B18, together with its German representative, Frank Brücher Maschinenvertrieb.

This year, the focus will be on STAHL-3 and on what has been built around it over the past months: new equipment, new software, and an increasingly integrated approach to slitter tooling automation.

From two new installations to an expanding STAHL-3 ecosystem

STAHL-3 automatically loads, unloads, and stores the tooling used on coil slitting lines. It can also manage the washing and inspection stages, turning what has traditionally been a manual setup process into an automated workflow.

It has been a busy year for STAHL-3. Officine MTM successfully completed two new installations, one in the United States and one in Italy, bringing its automated slitter tooling technology to two different markets.

But the work didn’t stop there. The experience gained around STAHL-3 has also driven the development of two new solutions designed specifically to work with this robot: an in-house designed washing machine and a completely new piece of software for slitting formations.

The result is an expanding ecosystem built around one goal: taking more of the manual work out of slitter tooling setting and management.

A washing machine built around the robot

One of the new developments is Officine MTM’s new, re-designed washing machine.

It has 2 separate tanks, one for washing with alkaline detergents and ultrasounds, the other for passivating and drying.

Available in different capacities, up to 1,200 mm of tooling on a single cycle, the unit has been developed around STAHL-3 from the beginning, allowing the two systems to operate seamlessly together.

A brand new software for creating the slitting formations

The second major development is on the software side.

Officine MTM has designed its new slitting formations software from scratch, including a completely new user interface. The software automatically calculates the slitting formation and proposes the ideal combination of knives and rubber tooling. When it’s time to build the formation, it checks what is actually available in storage at that moment and creates the real formation accordingly.

In other words, the software connects the theoretical setup with the tooling that is physically available, creating a direct link between slitting calculation, tooling inventory and automated handling.

Let’s talk slitting in Hannover

EuroBLECH will be an opportunity to talk directly with the people behind STAHL-3.

Whether you already know Officine MTM or want to discover its approach to coil slitting automation and tooling management, the team will be ready to welcome you in Hannover.

Come and meet Officine MTM at EuroBLECH 2026, October 20–23, Hall 17, Stand B18.
