MTM Group to support Saudi Arabia's industrial modernization with new tube mill lines

Officine MTM SpA strengthens its presence in the Gulf markets by supplying two complete ERW tube mill lines to a prominent Saudi client active in the construction sector. The customer, a long-established manufacturer, is deeply committed to modernizing its facilities and expanding its production capacity to meet the growing demand in the local market.

State-of-the-art MTM’s tube mills in Saudi Arabia: characteristics

The first line, already delivered and ready for commissioning, is set to produce tubes with diameters up to 80 mm and 3.5 mm wall thickness. The second one, currently undergoing testing at MTM’s facility in Spinea (Italy), will handle tubes with diameters up to 127 mm and thicknesses up to 5.0 mm.

Both lines have been engineered to ensure maximum efficiency and consistent product quality, covering the full production cycle: from the automatic entry and forming section with ERW welding, to the high-speed, top-precision “burr-free” flying cut-off unit. These systems are completed with automatic tube unloading and a final bundling machine, ensuring seamless operation, reduced handling times, and a superior level of process automation.
