Cutting performance is a key strength of the RSP 80-350. The integration of multiple technologies within a single cutting head enables efficient processing of steel, including high-strength grades, as well as brass, copper and aluminum. The use of HSS or TCT blades, combined with advanced blade guiding systems, ensures precise and repeatable cuts even in high cycles.
Everlasting quality and performance
From a structural standpoint, the machine features a monoblock welded steel frame, engineered through FEM analysis and subjected to stress-relief treatments. This results in a highly rigid and stable structure, capable of maintaining precision over time, even under demanding operating conditions.
A distinctive feature is the rotary table equipped with a Hirth coupling system, providing fast and highly accurate positioning, with indexing times as low as 0.5 seconds. The clamping system, based on wedge-type vises with integrated control, ensures stable part holding and contributes to scrap reduction, even when machining thin or complex components.
The modular machining area allows integration of different processing units, making the RSP 80-350 suitable for both simple and more complex operations. The latest-generation quill units with integrated motors enhance rigidity and compactness, improving surface finish quality while reducing vibrations.
Control architecture is designed to match production requirements: from Siemens PLC for straightforward, high-speed cycles, to Siemens Sinumerik ONE CNC for more complex machining involving axis interpolation. This flexibility allows users to tailor the system to their specific applications and optimize overall efficiency.
Automation and continuous production cycles
In terms of quality and automation, the RSP 80-350 integrates in-process measurement systems and automatic rejection of non-conforming parts, enabling continuous monitoring without interrupting production. The option to integrate robotic palletizing systems further enhances automation and finished part handling .
The system is completed by dedicated chip and coolant management solutions, ensuring continuous evacuation, cleaner working conditions and reduced maintenance requirements.
