Alessandro Sinico: a glimpse into the world of automatic CNC machines

Alessandro Sinico is the managing director of Sinico Service, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of automatic transfer cutting and end-working machines. In a recent interview, we discussed together the current market situation, the company's approach to challenges and changes, its strengths, short-term goals, and customer trust, as well as the opportunities presented by the Chinese and Indian markets.
How do you assess the current market situation?
The current market situation is challenging, requiring us to maintain control over all managerial and production aspects and adapt to any rising situation. Despite these challenges, we are performing well in overseas markets and remain optimistic about a recovery in the coming months.
How is your company addressing the challenges and changes in this market?
Our approach involves offering a comprehensive range of machines that can meet diverse needs in terms of size, construction, and performance. We believe that a 360-degree range of proposals is essential to address the evolving market demands.
What are your strengths?
Our strengths lie in providing robust and productive machines, ranging from simple and economical models to complex ones. Additionally, we excel in customizing machines to meet specific production requirements and specifications, offering high-productivity machines at competitive costs.
What goals do you aim to achieve in the short term?
In the short term, we aim to expand and enhance our range of machines by introducing a new model, the CL104-2050. This linear transfer machine is designed to work with bars or tubes with a maximum diameter of 115 mm and a piece length from 300 to 2050 mm at the ends.
How did you earn the trust of your customers?
Our customers trust us due to the reliability of our machines and our high-level assistance service. We prioritize establishing a relationship of utmost trust with our clientele by promptly and competently resolving any machine-related issues.
So, I take it that offering a good product is no longer sufficient to succeed in today’s market, isn’t it?
No, offering a good product alone is no longer sufficient. It must be complemented by a series of services, from the initial contact to post-sales support, in order to meet the expectations of our customers.
Are China and India more of a threat or an opportunity today?
If adequately leveraged, China and India present more opportunities than threats. We have experienced success in working with China and have a positive impression from our interactions with local companies and entrepreneurs.
