Sinico, green projects between plastics and photovoltaics

Environmental protection has always been a fundamental point at Sinico. The Italian company inaugurates 2022 with two ambitious goals: the first project is to heavily limit the daily plastic usage in the company.

Every year, more than 12 million tons of plastic end up in nature and are responsible for the death of more than 100,000 mammals. This reflects on humans: did you know that, on average, we ingest about 5 grams of plastic every week? It is the weight equivalent of a credit card!
Sinico has decided to install several drinking points for its staff in multiple locations. Equipped with a recyclable plastic water bottle, all employees can quench their thirst with fresh and filtered water. In this way, the daily purchase of plastic bottles can be drastically reduced.

The second project is dedicated to energy supply. Sinico is preparing for a state-of-the-art photovoltaic plant, which will cover the 10,000 square meters of the roof. The installation is now undergoing.
