Cut-to-length lines for sheet metal processing from coil

Cut-to-length lines for sheet metal processing from coil

TTEngineering develops advanced cut-to-length lines that transform sheet metal directly from coil into precision blanks for a wide range of downstream applications. Typical users include manufacturers in the HVAC, boiler, ventilation, and general fabrication industries.

At the core of these systems is a fully electric mechanical shear, which replaces traditional hydraulics. This technology ensures long-term accuracy and quality, while reducing noise, floor vibrations, and energy consumption. The result is clean, repeatable cuts even at high throughput, making the lines perfectly suited for integration with forming and welding operations.

An innovative option is the dual-straightener shear, which allows two materials to be processed in parallel. This unique setup eliminates line stoppages and tool changes, reducing downtime and optimizing floor space, an advantage in facilities where flexibility and speed are crucial.

Decoilers are available for coils up to 1,550 mm wide and 5 or 12 tons (28.000lbs) in weight, ensuring long runs with minimal interruptions. Among the most recommended options is the coil loading system with a motorized trolley on floor rails, which simplifies handling operations and improves safety. Additional automation modules can further enhance coil management, reduce manual tasks, and increase operator ergonomics.

Every system is engineered to order, adapting to specific material ranges, thicknesses, and production speeds, giving customers full control over their sheet metal processes.
