Violi’s hyperbolic tube straightening machine mod. VM/MRT5A is a highly efficient solution for tube treatment, combining mechanical precision and smart automation features.

Automated rounding and straightening for metal tubes

The machine core is made of a compact metal structure hosting five working roller couples. Each roller pair is mounted on a horizontal axis, with all axes arranged to overlap and tilt toward each other. The inclination angle can be mechanically adjusted via motor. The rollers feature a particular hyperbolic and concave geometry that imparts a double rotational and translational movement to the material, ensuring an accurate straightening and a consistent rounding.

Intelligent automation feature and compact design

One of the strengths of VM/MRT5A is the fully automated control of operating parameters, enabled by 10 brushless motors with encoder. The machine automatically sets the roller diameter, offset, and longitudinal position, guaranteeing high repeatability. The touch control panel, compatible with 4.0 Industry system, allows managing up to 1.000 storable recipes.

Designed to process tubes with diameters ranging from 3 to 11 mm, the straightening machine offers an adjustable speed up to 15 m/min, with a total installed power of 3.5 kW. Thanks to its compact dimensions (1200x700x1400mm) and weight of 450Kg, it fits easily in several line configurations. The loading/unloading benches are available as an optional.
