Violi Srl: A new cutting-edge drawing plant
Violi S.r.l. was established in 1992 as a manufacturer of machinery for the goldsmith sector. Leveraging decades of experience in this field, Violi thus began to produce cutting-edge lines for several industries.
In 1995, the company started developing machinery for the processing of high-thickness cast tubes for the production of rings. The old and expensive systems were replaced with new patented ones - such as the hydraulic drawing bench with a pulling power of up to 30,000 Kg - thus providing considerable advantages to the companies in the industry.
Over the years, Violi S.r.l. has developed other machines to complete this process with hyperbolic rollers straightening systems for tubes or fully automatic double-group straightening machines for rectangular bars, square bars, and complex profiles. The related processing cycle was presented to the metalworking industry during specific international exhibitions. Following the success, customer needs have led Violi to design other drawing and straightening lines for tubes, wires, and special profiles, equipped with a cut-to-length system.
In this regard, the new semi-automatic drawing plant by Violi allows the automatic insertion, drawing, and unloading of the drawn material. This arises from the need of large industries to work with tubes with remarkable and increasingly performing characteristics.
The drawing plant is composed of one hydraulic drawing bench with variable pulling power and useful length, and a front structure for oscillating anchoring to facilitate the insertion of the internal mandrel. Other features include: a hydraulic gripper trolley with pulling point in axis with the drawing holes; a quick set of hardened jaws; an adjustable hole holder adaptable to the dies being used.
The plant is equipped with an exclusive and innovative system that allows you to start the drawing process gradually and with a controlled effort. The drawn tubes are automatically unloaded on the special side-storage without interrupting the cycle.
