Exploring the features of Agibi Progetti's spring hot setting line

Agibi Progetti, a prominent company in the field of manufacturing machinery for heat treatment of metal small parts, is completing the fourth installation of an advanced valve and clutch spring furnace, model FNV-B+PC S+VSA+ROBOT. The line is equipped with a cooling and drying system, with the possibility to include a robotic unloading unit.

What are its standout features? Let’s have a look!

Ventilated electric tunnel furnace model FNV-B: equipped with pneumatic doors, a spring handling system consisting of stainless steel chains with connecting crosspieces, precision brushless motor, and power ranging from 65 to 98 kW.
Heating tunnel: with 3 to 5 independent temperature regulation zones.
Electromechanical press from 15,000 to 40,000 N: equipped with hardened and chromed steel pillars and an integrated fluid cooling system for springs to ensure process uniformity. The setting force is achieved with a precision electromechanical actuator for a uniform hot setting process.
Dynamic compressed air spring drying station
Manual spring loading and drop-off unloading system: upon request, a manipulation robot can be provided for complete process control.
Fluid recovery tanks with filtering and cooling system.
• Easy and intuitive management software.

This state-of-the-art furnace allows for an average productivity of 1,000 to 2,800 pieces per hour, depending on treatment times and spring size, making it a winning choice for industry professionals. Additionally, the high-quality materials used, special insulation, and over two-decades-long know-how ensure low energy consumption (6 kWh, referring to the 65 kW vacuum model at 280°C) and reduced extraordinary maintenance and machine downtime due to malfunctions.
