Cold Rolling Cassettes are most commonly used for one or two reduction passes for the production of ribbed wire in concrete applications and the construction industry.
The latest DEM design has developed a unit with a very rigid frame and an easy maintenance concept.
The unit allows roll replacement without opening the housing. It is provided with a reduction gear box (typical of DEM patented design since the first unit produced) with high ratio to allow the roll gap adjustment also under load and with a digital counter for quick roll repositioning. Carbide wear-proof guides are installed to protect the main parts from wire wearing. Roll gap offset alignment is possible on each roll individually.
Provided with cooling and lubrication circuits.

Low, medium and high carbon steel smooth wires.
Low, medium and high carbon steel ribbed (reinforced or indented) wires.
Copper, aluminum, and titanium wires.
Ropes, PC pre-stressed wires and special section wires.
