DEM Rolling Technology launches innovative high speed Copper Flattening Line. DEM Wire Rolling Technology, a company specialised in cold rolling processes and well-known for its cold rolling cassettes and cold rolling lines, has started up a new-concept line for the production of FLAT COPPER WIRE with very close tolerances starting from round wire rod, thanks to a new patented motorized head. The new rolling stand has been developed with a fully automated system that allows flat wire measurement and self-adjustment on closed loop control. All working and set up parameters for each flat size are stored in the PC memory and can be retrieved any time a product has to be rolled again, thereby providing automatic rolling line set-up. This particular line consists of a pay off, 3 motorized heads with 3 dancers, 2 edgers to obtain flat or rounded edges, a special laser for tolerance control and a fully automated coiler.
