DEM Rolling Technology presents an innovative high-speed line
With 5 rolling stand for producing special shaped wire profiles with very close tolerances, such as shaped wire, triangles, squares, flats etc. The new rolling stand has been developed with a fully automated system that allows profile measurement and self-adjustment on closed loop control.
All 4 rolls can be moved vertically and horizontally to allow making a vast range of flat wire without changing the rolls and a wide range of a special profiles that cannot be achieved with a traditional line. The line consists of a wire uncoiling system (pay-off), 5 wire profile rolling stands, 2 dancers for wire speed control, a straightener, laser measuring device and a trasversable spooler.
Starting material
- Material: stainless steel, low, medium and high carbon steel.
- Coils up to 2000 kg.
Finishing material
- Flats, squares and special profiles.
- Coils up to 2000 kg.
Line speed
- Up to 480 m/min (8 m/sec).
