DEM Wire Rolling Technology: Profile Wire Rolling line.
DEM Rolling Technology has just started-up an innovative line with 7 profile wire for producing special shaped wire profiles with very close tolerances. The line consists of three different wire uncoiling system (pay-off), that let able the line to accept coils, spools and free-coils, a pre-straightener, seven wire profile rolling stands, 4 dancers for wire speed control, laser measuring device and a trasversable spooler with an automatic unloading system.
The new rolling stand has been developed with a fully automated system that allows profile measurement and self-adjustment on closed loop control. All rolls can be moved vertically and horizontally to allow making a vast range of flat wire without changing the rolls and a wide range of a special profiles that cannot be achieved with a traditional line.
Starting material:
-Wire rod;
-Material: stainless steel, low, medium and high carbon;
-Coils up to 2000 kg.
Finishing material:
Flats, squares and special profiles;
Coils up to 2000 kg;
Line speed: up to 300 m/sec.
