DRUIDS Process Technology to showcase wire solutions

DRUIDS Process Technology will participate in wire Southeast Asia 2025, taking place from 17 to 19 September at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Thailand.

Held biennially, wire Southeast Asia is the ASEAN region’s leading event for the wire, cable and tube industries. The 2023 edition welcomed over 6,300 trade visitors and 254 exhibitors. DRUIDS was among the participants, presenting its latest innovations in wire processing technologies.

According to the show organisers, “Thailand is a strategic hub for metals, automotive, electronics and construction, offering access to one of the world’s fastest growing regions. Continued foreign investment fuels its growth as a regional base for industrial innovation, exports and distribution across Asia-Pacific.”

The importance of the Thai wire market is underscored by recent data from the World Steel Association: in 2024, Thailand ranked among the world’s top 30 crude steel producers, with an output of 4.9 million tonnes. It is also one of the ten largest steel importers globally, reaching 13.5 million tonnes. Urbanisation and major infrastructure developments are driving demand, opening new opportunities for the wire and cable sector.
