GCR Eurodraw Spa presents this new machine that is quite unique in its category and includes many advantages compared to what has been done until today in the industry. A totally new machine developed by GCR Eurodraw SPA R&D department and designed to produce at very high speed and with maximum efficiency small/medium diameter 6+1 high carbon cord. The product that the machine can manufacture is the elementary 6+1 wire cord that is used in many types of cable constructions. The main advantages are: - Much higher filament weight loading possible compared with a tubular machine of similar performances, - Much better tension control of each of the filaments that compose the cord, hence better quality overall, - Very high efficiency as the intervals between loadings in much longer and the time required for reloading is much shorter, - The cord is collected directly on the spool that will be used in the closing machine without need to further rewind it in the correct spool size to match the closer. Other very significant advantages: - No foundations required, very easy installation, - Very safe and silent operation, - Low manpower required to operate multiple machines, - Very compact design that requires little space, - Easy to load and unload the spool with the finished cord, - Easy to load the spools with the filament wire.
