Automation is the new watchword for wire machinery manufacturer Lämneå Bruk

The company's modification centers are the industry’s most versatile automation solutions for precision machining of holes and cutouts. They are known for their excellent cutting speeds, repeated precision, enclosure size handling capability, and user-friendliness.
For all these reasons, they were chosen by the industrial wire machinery manufacturer Lämneå Bruk. The Sweden-based enterprise has made further investments in automation by purchasing another nVent HOFFMAN modification center and several nVent HOFFMAN PWA 2000s (personal wiring assistant), including crimping stations and printers, to automate the entire prep and installation of the electrical department.
At Lämneå Bruk, automation starts with switchgear planning in the office, which creates the necessary data for the PWA systems. From there, the automated wire prep, cutting, and installation steps take place in the workshop. Electrical department personnel receives all the information needed to install the wire, which is produced just in time by the PWA 2000.
