Lämneå Bruk: "Our production of wire machines is still unaffected by Covid-19"
"We would like to give you a short update of how Lämneå Bruk and our employees are dealing with the current worldwide Covid -19 outbreak.
As of now, our production has not been affected - everything is running as planned and we can still send and receive shipments. Unfortunately, it is foreseeable that we will face some delivery challenges at the end of May as a few of our suppliers won’t be able to send materials we need for production.
Nevertheless, we at Lämneå Bruk keep working hard to provide the good service you as our customers are used to. 25% of our staff is currently working from home and we use our digital platforms by making use of video calls, virtual meetings and other online options to keep working normally and to give you our fullest support remotely. It might come as a surprise but using these online tools has been even more efficient than personal meetings.
The Lämneå Bruk employees that cannot work at their home office are spread out widely in the workshop and offices and need to keep their distance not only at work but also during break times. For meetings on - site, we also use online tools to avoid interpersonal contacts.
Overall, we are still in the fortunate position that everything is going very well and even exceeding our expectation at the moment. It is a difficult and very challenging situation for not only the wire industry but for everyone on this planet. I would like to personally reassure you that Lämneå Bruk is going above and beyond to continue our successful business operations as usual.
