"Safety is our major concern": Lämneå Bruk cancels booth at wire 2020
We receive and publish an open letter written by Jonas Hagstedt, President of Lämneå Bruk, following the cancellation of their presence at wire 2020.
"Lämneå Bruk has been participating in the world’s probably most important wire show in Düsseldorf since the early years of the event. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the show has been postponed to December. We have felt relieved and enthusiastic as we were looking forward to meeting our old and new customers, presenting our newest innovations, and learning more about the latest industry trends. Unfortunately, the situation worldwide remains very unstable, with rising case numbers in most European countries. Safety is a major concern and priority for us, not only when it comes to our machines, but of course also for our employees and customers.
So, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel our participation in this year’s wire Düsseldorf. We see it as the only right and reasonable decision to ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and visitors.
We are looking forward to a hopefully pandemic-free, safe, and social wire Düsseldorf 2022.
