Manentimacchine to introduce the upgraded HTC 10CL: over 900 springs per minute

The latest upgrade to the HTC 10CL focuses on improving two key aspects for spring manufacturers: production speed and process stability.
During the most recent application tests, the machine demonstrated its ability to produce a 5-coil spring at a rate exceeding 900 pieces per minute while maintaining excellent dimensional consistency through automatic free length control using a vision inspection system.
This represents a particularly significant achievement for manufacturers producing high volumes, where the combination of speed and quality is a key competitive advantage.
New software for a faster setup
One of the most innovative aspects of the upgrade is the machine control software.
Traditionally, spring geometry established during low-speed setup may change once the machine reaches full production speed. As a result, operators often need to make additional corrections and adjustments before reaching the optimal production settings.
With the new HTC 10CL software update, the spring geometry established during setup remains unchanged even after the machine reaches maximum production speed. The result is a significant reduction in setup time, easier machine adjustment, and improved process repeatability.
5-axis technology for maximum flexibility
The HTC 10CL features a 5-axis CNC system that controls wire feed, outside diameter, vertical pitch, horizontal pitch, and cutting. The machine is designed for the production of compression springs and small wire parts, with a maximum outside diameter of up to 25 mm in the standard configuration.
